The BMW 120i features an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, allowing seamless gear changes so you can focus on driving the Nürburgring safely and precisely. At just 1,370 kg, it’s light and nimble – a quality that’s especially valuable on a track with so much elevation change, tight sections, and high-speed stretches.
The chassis has been completely transformed with KW Clubsport 3-way adjustable suspension, offering precise damping control and track-optimized camber settings. Combined with strut braces at the front, rear, and underbody, the car offers reduced flex and sharper turn-in response.
No fewer than 33 bushings have been replaced with high-performance Millway and Strongflex components. Add in a solid-mounted rear subframe and differential, and you get a level of feedback and stability that far exceeds what you’d expect from a standard 120i.
Braking, Grip and Aerodynamics – All Dialed In
Braking performance is delivered by M Performance Brembo calipers paired with Pagid RSL29 racing brake pads and steel braided lines for consistent stopping power. Optimized brake cooling ensures fade resistance during longer stints.
The car rides on 9×18-inch Protrack wheels with grippy 255-width Yokohama AD09 semi-slick tyres front and rear – offering impressive traction and confidence in both dry and mixed conditions.
Visually and functionally, the car benefits from a front splitter, side skirts and a subtle rear spoiler lip – improving aerodynamic balance and giving the car a purposeful look worthy of the Nürburgring.
